In recent years, many lending institutions have acknowledged the credit catch 22 that faced many young people who had no credit. Student credit cards are now available to assist with building your credit. Lenders have perhaps also in part realized what lucrative market student credit cards can be, since college students are generally cash starved and not yet savvy enough to realize the dangers of running up a credit card. So, student credit cards are available and can be an excellent credit building tool, but be careful!
